Definetly a good list..would place Jimmy Page 1st on creativity ,its close for 2nd place between Rory and Hendrix...still though all brilliant and just a matter of opinion to whos the best in the end

I'm awed that any human can relate to the instrument as you do. You could be my future ex-wife. I agree on all levels, except Stevie Ray. He's very, very good; but dying seems to elevate you in this country. I suggest Roy Buchanan as 4 or 5. :)

Hello! i think ive sent u a reply somewhere but here, i'm up for a civilised debate anyday. it's just personal preference based on personal preference i suppose... i do not have any authority on guitarists i thought it would be accepted that comments made here would be taken as a personal observation.. that's what forums like these are meant to be are they not? i love guitarists, but if pushed i have my number 1, 2 etc just like you, boring i know..

I came across your review. I was wondering who died a made you the ultimate authority on guitarist? You said something like, I quote, I have been on this planet a long time.. Whats that all about? I know a lot of old just stupid, In your case you would be considered, DOGMATIC. Look it up. I have to disagree with everything you said in your little rant. Hey, just thought I would agree with this fellows top-5 guitarist. Myself the order is off but he's has the right 5 in the top-5. I would put Hendrix first then it starts getting a little more difficult. I've seen all of them live in concert and none of them dissapointed me.......It's all personal prefences really. I hate people that correct other peoples spelling but piece should of been PEACE. (sorry about that, no offense)

my dear, i have been on this planet(with respect) a long time and for emotion, Rory Gallagher is the first Hendrix next, he was forced to play when he didnt want to.. Clapton a poor third - u r shocked! time will tell u dear Page - an instinctive guitarist knowing what people mite want stevie ray- yes, clever very clinical i stand by my decisions if u would like an intellectual debate, go back, listening to these guys and what i say, get back to me ok?
