I agree with you, metal surviving ages, but people stop listening to something that isn't so commercial and repetitive might be different, it comes in fads, like pop/punk was big recently hip hop will be around but people will come to realization that it is not something of immense artistic or divinely inspired music, just regurgitated crap Hail metal \m/

I'm in complete agreement with mtbskiier92 and LtnSarge; just to let everyone know, rap/hip hop will not survive the ages, eventually, people will realize they don't want to listen to repetitive bullshit anymore. What music will they turn to? Metal, of course, bands like Bathory, Amon Amarth, and many others. This genre of music, metal, will survive the ages for many generations to come. I only wish I could live long enough to see it in all it's glory. Love Bathory XD

True music is in my opinion, any genre that include and use actual instruments like it's meant to. Not some BS pre-recorded track beat looped for 6 minutes like stupid rap pretty much always does. Classical, jazz, metal, folk, blues, opera, symphonies,.. now that is true music.
